Description

  • GC Gold Label 9 is the easy-to-use, handle and place fluoride-releasing alternative to expensive compomers and composites and in many cases, amalgam.
  • It cures extremely hard and is very wear resistant.
  • As a true glass ionomer, it chemically bonds to tooth structure, has a tooth-like coefficient of thermal expansion and releases significant levels of rechargeable fluoride.
  • It’s the perfect product for geriatric and paediatric restorations, final restorations (non-stress bearing areas), Intermediate Restorative (IRM), core material and long-term, temporary restorations.

  • Extra fluoride release.
  • Extra fast setting yet with ample working time.
  • Extra translucency for improved aesthetics.
  • Strontium-based glass ionomer restorative.
  • For good radiopacity and snapset characteristics.
  • Strontium will mimic calcium in the formation of strontium hydroxyapatite and strontium fluorapatite to affect internal re-mineralization within the tooth structure.
  • Research has shown that a strontium-based glass ionomer placed in calcium-containing environment (saliva) will result in calcium ion diffusing into the glass ionomer surface achieving a surface strengthening effect.
